African violets blooming again. November 16, 2012.

Calla lily. I had two small calla lily plants which bloomed but then died back. I was disappointed but kept them. I often set aside plants that have died and so I put my two calla lily pots in a location where they lay dormant but still had sunshine and warmth, with other plants. I still watered them from time to time. In this case, I was shocked to see the plants begin growing last spring. They are much larger than before. No blooms yet, But I am hopeful we will get some flowers sometime again.

Oleander. Brought indoors last fall, it bloomed during the winter once, and now blooming in the spring. June 6, 2012.
