A wild climbing rose growing in the field. Perhaps it was planted years ago but it seems to have grown up on its own. I nearly didn’t notice it. It looks vulnerable to me but has withstood the thresher’s pass more than once. It must have good roots or a strong inclination to grow. Perhaps it is more durable than it appears.
May we withstand any assaults of today and remain as lovely.
